API Name: ITAM_App__Origin__c

The Origin object represents the source or point of acquisition for an Asset Unit within the IT Asset Management system. It helps track where an asset originally came from—such as a specific vendor, supplier, project, or procurement process—providing valuable context for audit trails, reporting, and lifecycle tracking.

Each Origin can optionally be linked to an Account (e.g., supplier or partner), and includes a description field for more detailed notes.
