ITAM_App__Asset_Owner__c

The Asset Owner object represents a person who has been assigned IT assets by the organization to perform their job responsibilities. 

These assets may include laptops, phones, software licenses, or other equipment necessary for their tasks. The object tracks key details such as the owner’s department, current status, and whether the Asset Owner is allowed to manage assets (Asset Admin). This helps ensure accountability and supports efficient asset tracking and lifecycle management.

Asset Owners with the Archived status are typically former employees who no longer have any assigned assets. These records are retained for historical reference but are excluded from license limits and active user counts, helping maintain accurate compliance and system performance without losing historical asset assignment data.

On the Asset Owner record page, two related lists are included:

• A list of Asset Units currently assigned to the Asset Owner.
  
• A list of Asset Requests where the Asset Owner is selected as the Asset Recipient.
  

These components provide immediate visibility into what assets are currently held and any pending or historical asset requests related to the Asset Owner, enhancing user experience and operational transparency.
