Your IT asset register, live in one day
You installed ITAM App. Now someone has to configure it and get your real hardware into it. That is a day of work, and it is the day nobody has. We do that day for you, on a fixed price, remotely.
Fixed price. Remote. No discovery phase to pay for first.
Three places, every time
None of it is difficult. All of it takes a day of uninterrupted attention, which is exactly what nobody has.
- Nobody assigns the Asset Admin permission set, so the app never appears for anyone and the install looks broken.
- The asset categories and fields do not match how you actually track equipment, and adjusting them gets parked behind everything else.
- The import fails on validation rules, because Input Initial Values Mode was not switched on first, and the spreadsheet goes back in the drawer.
One day, three blocks, one working register
Delivered remotely, in a single working day or split across two half-days if that suits your calendar better.
System Setup
App installation, permission sets and licence provisioning. Asset Admin for your IT team, Asset Owner or Asset Request Sender for staff who hold equipment.
Asset Types and Properties
Your asset types built out, each with its own property bundle. Every asset has a type, and the type decides which attributes appear on the record: RAM, CPU and screen size on a laptop, IMEI on a phone, seat count and renewal date on a software licence.
Properties are records, not Salesforce custom fields. Nothing deploys, nothing counts against field limits, and your team can add attributes later without an admin. We also set up your categories, which work like tags for cross-cutting groups such as Developer Laptop or High-Security, and the controlled value lists people will pick from.
Data Load and Handoff
Bulk upload of your current hardware, then a 60-minute power-user training session with your team.
What you have at the end of the day
- A register your team can trust, populated with your real equipment, not sample data.
- Asset types with the right properties attached, so a laptop record shows laptop attributes and a phone record shows phone attributes.
- Asset owners assigned, so you know who holds what.
- Renewal and expiry dates on your software licences, with alerts configured.
- At least one working report or dashboard.
- A trained power user who can add new asset types and properties without calling us or your Salesforce admin.
No hourly overruns. No discovery phase to pay for first.
Included
Everything in the three blocks above, plus the 60-minute power-user training session.
Not included
Integrations and custom automation. Connecting Intune, Jamf, HR or procurement systems, and building approval or request workflows beyond the standard setup, are separate projects with their own scope and price. We will tell you honestly whether you actually need one, and quote it if you do.
Your ITAM App subscription is separate. The Free plan covers 20 asset owners and 100 assets indefinitely at no cost, and paid plans start at $40 a month. See plans.
What we need from you
Half a day of one person's attention, not a project team.
- A Salesforce admin who can grant us access for the day.
- Your current asset data in whatever state it is in. A messy spreadsheet is fine and normal. It does not need cleaning first, that is part of what we do.
- One or two people free for the 60-minute training at the end.
Is this right for you?
A good fit if
You have ITAM App installed or are about to, you have more than about 50 pieces of equipment, and your current register is a spreadsheet, several spreadsheets, or nothing at all.
Not a good fit if
You need automatic device discovery. ITAM App does not scan your network, and there are no prebuilt connectors to Intune or Jamf today. Assets are entered by import or by API, and no amount of setup changes that. Better you know now than after you have paid us.
No, you do not need a Salesforce licence for every employee
This is the question that stalls ITAM projects internally, so here it is plainly.
Only asset admins need a Salesforce licence. The people who run the register: add assets, assign them, handle renewals. Usually a handful of people.
Asset owners do not need a Salesforce licence. Employees who hold equipment are tracked as records in the app. 250 asset owners does not mean 250 Salesforce seats.
If someone already has a licence, there are permission sets that let them see their own assigned equipment and raise asset requests. Optional, not required.
"Asset owners" in ITAM App pricing is an app pricing unit, not a Salesforce seat.
Questions
How long does it actually take?
One working day of our time. Yours is about two hours across the day, plus the training session at the end.
Is it remote?
Yes, remote by default. We work in your Salesforce org directly.
What if we have thousands of assets?
The bulk load handles volume fine. If your data needs significant cleaning or sits across several systems, we will tell you before you book and quote the extra separately, rather than running over on the day.
Can we do this on the Free plan?
Yes. The Free plan covers 20 asset owners and 100 assets with no time limit. If your estate is bigger, we will size the right plan during the day so you are not guessing.
What if we get stuck afterwards?
Paid ITAM App plans include implementation support hours and ticket support. Beyond that we offer managed services, or ad hoc live support at $80 per hour.
Those are priced differently from the Quickstart on purpose. The Quickstart is a fixed price for a defined outcome: you get a working register and a trained user, and if the day runs long that is our problem, not your invoice. Hourly support is help when you want it, with nothing promised about where you end up.
Do you need admin access to our Salesforce org?
Yes, for the working day. You control the access and can revoke it afterwards.
What if we would rather do it ourselves?
Then do. The documentation covers the whole setup and the Free plan costs nothing. The Quickstart is for teams who would rather buy the day back.
